Tide 55’s Team Trip to Regenthill!

We recently ventured out on a team trip to one of our newest clients, Regenthill

Working with a range of clients in a range of industries means that as a team, we get to try out a lot of new, different and exciting things. Part of that includes taking trips to visit our different clients. This gives us the chance to learn, become more familiar and more involved in their world.

This visit was hugely beneficial in a number of ways. Firstly as a digital marketing agency, we learnt more about the service Regenthill provides and how we can better market this as a result. However, it was also beneficial as members of the general public and how we can better our own recycling habits!

So that’s what we’re going to be sharing with you today! The complete Regenthill experience by Tide 55…

Why we visited

As a digital marketing agency, it’s important for us to get to know the world that each of our clients operate in. That way we are able to fully immerse ourselves and understand the client’s processes and products. Therefore, we can provide the best possible service to our clients as a result.

Moreover, it’s important to build a relationship with your clients, and to take the time to understand the business. The more information gathered and the better the client’s world is understood, the more detailed we can be in marketing their business.

What we learnt

As an overview, it’s safe to say that we learnt a lot about recycling! Beyond what the customer does, there are far more steps to the recycling process than we had originally thought. This includes what is deemed as appropriate to recycle and their overall targets for recycling as a company. As a result, we’re confident in sharing…

“Our newbie’s guide to visiting a recycling centre”

From our visit, we discovered a lot about the recycling industry, and the different types of processes that take place within the overall manufacturing stream. We got to see how different recyclable materials are turned back into raw materials, using a range of high quality, top of the industry processes and machinery. Did you know that recycling here in the UK helps to:

  • Keep the processes in a loop
  • Avoid exports
  • Reduce road miles and CO2 emissions
  • Avoid global dumping grounds

So what should you take away from this? The customer process, although very important, is actually very simple!

  1. Gather your waste. It needs to be kept clean, separate and avoiding contamination from other materials.
  2. Get in touch to discuss your requirements. This includes sending pictures of the materials you want to recycle, and the volume.
  3. Arrange the collection or drop off of materials.
  4. Regenthill will handle 100% of your materials, striving to ensure that they do not end up in a landfill.

As a result, recycling with Regenthill has never been easier, or more efficient! Materials are recycled and processed here in the UK, turned back into raw material and ready to go back into the manufacturing stream. Overall, this helps to close the loop in the recycling process!

Finally, to learn more about the different types of recyclable materials and their processes, be sure to check out Regenthill’s website.
