Our First Andover Business Growth Group!

Darci here from Tide 55, and I’ve got some exciting news to share with you…

We ran our very first Andover Business Growth Group on the 17th of November, and I’m here today to tell you all about it!

Today I’m here to share our highlights from the day, and how well the day ran. We all had a key role in the day, whether it was up front and leading, or behind the scenes and documenting the day. It was an extremely useful day for all of us in attendance, both as the team and as a participant.

I’m in a great position to share an insight into this day as my role was both helping and participating within the group. So without further ado, here’s how our first Andover Business Growth Group went!

Our intentions for the first Andover Business Growth Group

Here at Tide 55, we want to help business owners achieve their business based results. But for some businesses, that means spending time on the business, rather than in the business.

Our Andover Business Growth Group gives business owners the opportunity to ask individual questions, and to find out the information that they need specifically. It’s a personalised and individual approach to getting advice on building and growing your business, getting help with any unique questions that are suited to their businesses.

Highlights from the day

The event ran from 11:00 to 1:30, with each member of our Tide team covering different sections of the business. Tommy predominantly ran the event, offering his insights and knowledge and providing answers to the member’s questions. Kendall was on hand to offer additional support, as well as documenting the day on our social media alongside Emily. My role was participating in the event!

A personal highlight for me was seeing how beneficial the business owners found the event, and watching them interact with one another, with owners sharing their own experiences which led to help the others. There was a real value in watching the group discussions and contributions – a huge benefit to having a smaller, connected group.

A sneak preview into our topics

Without giving too much away, because we want you to attend the next one – of course! But the types of topics we discussed were:

  • Offline local growth
  • Marketing consistently (tips and tricks, things that can be done today)
  • Launch sequences
  • Financial planning

These were also based and drew on the key aspects of our core pillars:

  • Marketing
  • Sales
  • Delivery (service or product) – links to customer satisfaction
  • Financials – planning ahead, setting targets
  • Leadership – with others
  • Personal performance

Actions for our next group

Accountability is a big part of the Andover Business Growth Group, helping our business owners take initiative and grow their business. The members went away from the group with the question:

What is the number one thing/number one action that I’m going to do before next month’s BGG?

What do you think? Would you like to take part in our next Andover Business Growth Group? If you would like to gain the same value, make sure you get in touch to discuss attending!
